Alors qu’elle était enceinte de son premier enfant, la créatrice de Nesta’s Nest réflechissait à developer un nid parfait, naturel et durable pour y accueillir son bébé dans son petit appartement new yorkais. Nesta’s Nest est né et a accueilli le petit Nesta, pour ses siestes et ses nuits, pendant 9 mois. Le nid douillet est toujours présent dans la chambre du petit, mais en tant qu’objet de déco et de rangement. Le concept a paz l&a suite été produit et industrialisé mais en pétite quantité, afin de garantir la meilleure qualité possible en utilisant des matériaux nobles et durables. Nesta ‘s Nest est un produit régional, avec une production volontairement limitée. La laine et le bois sont cretifiés écologiques et made in Berlin.

While she was expecting her first child, the designer was looking for a natural, safe and sustainable nest to bring her new-born into the world and to fit into her apartment in New York City. She thus developed the concept of Nesta’s Nest in which her baby boy (called Nesta) slept for the first 9 months. The nest is still now part of the room and used to store his toys. Since then, the concept was produced and industrialized but in a small quantity to guarantee the highest quality using the most natural materials possible. Nesta’s Nest is thus dedicated to remain sustainable and regional, produced in limited supply ensuring handcrafted quality and high sustainability. Her goal is to ensure that new-borns are sleeping in Nesta’s Nest as soundly as her boy , once did.
Nesta’s Nest is made from 100% wool felt and eco-certified wood. All items are handcrafted in Berlin.
